In August 2019, ConsenSys — a blockchain venture company focused on growing the Ethereum network by providing financial services on top of the Ethereum blockchain — reached out to me to design a parametric generative system to create brand imagery for their decentralized finance arm, DeFi.

I used Transform, a live-code GPU particle simulation tool I developed in my spare time, to create imagery that visually represented growth, expansion, change, evolution, decentralization, and unity. The design team at ConsenSys then used Transform to further refine the colors, perspectives, and overall feel of the system to align with their brand image.

This project, completed in just two weeks, would not have been possible without leveraging open-source technologies like libcinder and other Cinder addons and blocks I had built over the past five years. Transform is currently available as an open-source project on GitHub.
